We were closed yesterday to recharge our batteries. I had a lovely day with Deb and the girls we went for a walk over the fields to Foxton, that might be the last walk with poppy as a child she will be starting secondary school tomorrow and they seem to change into little adults once they take that step, so today is a day of reflection and reminiscing for me. I have been in the showroom today it has been very busy and I have two quotations to do on the way home, Matt and Craig have been on school work all day trying to get it all finished before term time. Things don’t show any sign of slowing down.
I started the day in Little bowden installing a carpet in a bedroom then I have been in the showroom all day catching up with quotations and paperwork, the A14 is closed again which has turned Market Harborough into a giant car park, why not take the opportunity to pop into the showroom for a browse you may as well the traffic isn’t going anywhere, ill pop the kettle on.
From the hottest day to the wettest day in 24 hours, still at least won’t have to water the garden tonight, out fitting two bedrooms and a hallway in a nice penthouse carpet today
In between serving customers I’ve been watching the ashes “come on england” also there has been a Kingfisher flying up and down the river welland outside the shop, its a perfect day to pop into your local carpet showroom for a cup of tea and a chat.
